Caspar Herzberg

Chief Executive Officer

Caspar Herzberg has been Chief Executive Officer of AVEVA since March 2023 and is a member of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee. Before becoming CEO, he served as AVEVA’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer. He previously led Schneider Electric's business in more than 80 countries as President, Middle East & Africa, and has spent more than 25 years in the technology industry, including senior leadership positions at Cisco and Accenture. He is also an experienced military officer, having achieved the rank of Major (Reserve) in the German Federal Armed Forces.

Caspar is the author of Smart Cities, Digital Nations and holds an MSc in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a BA in Arabic & Modern Middle Eastern Studies from St. Anne’s College, University of Oxford. Based in London, he speaks English, German, Arabic and French.

Brian DiBenedetto

Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Brian DiBenedetto provides financial leadership for AVEVA. He has more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience in large, diversified international organizations. Brian has expertise in a broad scope of finance and accounting activities, such as planning and analysis, performance and risk management, auditing, project management, IT, and mergers and acquisitions.

As a corporate controller, divisional CFO, and ultimately senior vice president of finance operations for Invensys, one of the foundational companies that accelerated AVEVA’s growth, Brian helped shape AVEVA’s financial future. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of finance for both the industrial automation and energy management businesses at Schneider Electric, and then became AVEVA’s interim CFO. In addition to finance, his current role includes responsibility for AVEVA’s IT function, including cybersecurity. 

Brian received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island and his MBA from Bryant University. He is also a certified public accountant.

Caoimhe Keogan

Chief People Officer

Caoimhe Keogan joined AVEVA in January 2021 as Chief People Officer (CPO). She is responsible for AVEVA’s overall employee experience, leading the global human resources and employee communications teams, along with Action for Good, AVEVA’s Group-wide Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

Prior to AVEVA, Caoimhe held roles at Moneysupermarket Group PLC where she was Chief People Officer for three years, and SoundCloud where she was Senior Vice President People, Places & Community. She also spent six years at Google in senior HR roles, across both the Sales and Technology divisions.

Caoimhe has a master’s degree in Organisational Psychology from Queen's University of Belfast and a background in management consulting having spent her early career at Deloitte and KPMG.

Rob McGreevy

Chief Product Officer

As Chief Product Officer, Rob McGreevy leads the product management and business unit teams to drive innovative software solutions across the business, resulting in a seamless digital customer and partner experience. Charged with ensuring continued innovation and execution of our aligned business and portfolio strategy, he empowers customers and partners to transform their businesses and drive sustainable growth through AVEVA’s industrial software portfolio.

Rob has over 25 years of experience working in the industrial software business with a focus on manufacturing and infrastructure, serving end-markets such as power, water, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and energy. With an extensive background in product and business management, M&A, sales, and marketing, he is named in over 28 software and technology patents. Since joining the company, Rob has had multiple roles including Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A, Product Management, Portfolio and Business Unit Management.

Rob is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he studied journalism, communications and computer science.

Marco Mueller

Chief Marketing Officer

Marco Mueller joined AVEVA in April 2023 as Chief Marketing Officer. As a senior executive with an international track record of delivering growth and increasing revenue, Marco is an expert in building highly motivated teams within a globally matrixed environment. He champions innovation and transformation, creating integrated channels to support cross-functional marketing programs that maximize customer focus and impact.

Prior to AVEVA, Marco was Senior Vice President of Global Demand Marketing at Service Now where he led global and regional go-to-market strategy and activation. Previously, he served in senior executive roles for business software leader SAP SE in the Americas, EMEA, APJ and China. He started his career as a strategy and management consultant at Accenture.

Marco holds a Magister degree from the Vienna University of Business and Economics. He received a scholarship to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and executive qualifications from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and London Business School.

Sue Quense

Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer, Sue leads the commercial organization, which includes the Global Sales and Customer Success teams. Her focus is growing our business through acquiring new customers, helping current customers use more of our portfolio, and assisting our customers with the adoption of our Software as a Service offerings.

Sue has over 35 years experience in the industrial technology space and has extensive knowledge of our customers’ challenges.

Sue started her career in industrial automation at Bailey Controls (now ABB), and after gaining expertise in industrial systems, she shifted her focus to sales. She first joined AVEVA (then OSIsoft) in 2000, selling AVEVA PI System to customers in multiple end markets in the eastern United States. She later assumed responsibility for the northeast US sales team. Then her role grew to include eastern Canada, and ultimately, she became the VP of North American Sales. As the head of OSIsoft’s largest region, Sue was instrumental in the acquisition of OSISoft by AVEVA in 2021. After joining AVEVA, she was responsible for driving the sale of all operations products in the Americas, and in 2021, she became Head of the Americas region.
