Using the AVEVA Portfolio to Support Plains Midstream's Business Transformation - "One Plains"
Plains All American Pipeline embarked on a digitally-enabled business tranformation in 2021, to fully integrate Plains Midstream Canada and Plains Midstream US operations. The key areas of focus from an OT perpective, are the HMI/SCADA and AVEVA PI System including IIOT and mobility. The underlying objective is to integrate, normalzie and enable a "One Plains" culture, to standardize operational workflows, and support operational excellence and associated KPI baseliines, and continuous improvement. This presentation will provide an update from our 2023 AVEVA World presentation; with focus on new applications and solutions. Additionally, the strategy will be discussed re: the AVEVA PI System/PI AF's use as the operational data model to support our industrial data management.
