Increase productivity with cloud access

AVEVA PRO/II Simulation is now available via the cloud with on-demand access, seamless maintenance and flexible usage.

Increase design safety

Improve the safety and quality of your designs by making sure the specifications assigned to other disciplines are correct.

FAQs

Thanks to the cloud set-up, multi-location collaboration is possible. Each user has an individual log-on with which they log safely into the system. Users can download the model and share with their colleagues, who can upload to their VM and work on the model.

AVEVA PRO/II Simulation models a wide range of processes at steady state, from refining to chemicals, and provides robust and accurate results based on industry-standard thermodynamic methods and physical property data from SimSci and external databanks.

AVEVA PRO/II Simulation includes a large library of unit operations and calculation blocks such as: general flowsheet models (flash drum, pump, compressor, expander, pipe, membrane), heat exchanger models (S&T, air cooled, fired heater, plate fin), flowsheet control, distillation models, solids models, reactor models, economics (CAPEX & OPEX) and emissions (scope 1 and scope 2 emissions).

Yes, refinery reactor models are available in AVEVA PRO/II Simulation. These unit models are based on the proven models in AVEVA™ Process Optimization. The refinery reactor models available are Isomerization, Visbreaker, Delayed Coker, HF Alkylation, H2SO4 Alkylation, Hydrotreater, Hydrocracker, Reformer and Fluidized Catalytic Cracker (FCC). In addition, there is integration with Technip’s SPYRO software for ethylene cracking.
